The brewery was set up in 1992 by the owner of the Dipton Mill Inn and two partners in a redundant farm building. Hexhamshire brewery is still brewing following the break up of the owning partnership. The Dipton Mill continues to trade and is still serving the full range of Hexhamshire beers. The beers are also available in local pubs, as guests in Fitzgerald’s outlets and further afield through the SIBA supply scheme
