The brewery was set up in 1992 by the owner of the Dipton Mill Inn and two partners in a redundant farm building. Beers are always available at the Dipton Mill Inn. Hexhamshire brewery is still brewing following the break up of the owning partnership. The Dipton Mill continues to trade and is still serving the full range of Hexhamshire beers. Bottled beers should be available soon.
