Started in 1997 in stables behind Consett's oldest pub, the brewery produces more than 10 real ales.

Derwent Deep (5% ABV)
Strong, very dark full bodied with the distinctive flavour of roasted barley and a hint of liquorice. Full hoppy finish.

Swordmaker (4.5% ABV)
Full bodied, complex beer. Malty and fruity. Interesting finish of hops and bitter.

Red Dust (4.2% ABV)
Tawny, ruby red coloured. The slightly sweet, malty and fruity taste fades away to a distinctive bittersweet finish. Named after the infamous red dust from the steal works of Consett.

Target Ale (4% ABV)
First brewed for the 150th Anniversary of the pub which was originally called the Target Inn. Smooth bitter brewed with Challenger and Goldings hops.

C2C (5% ABV)
Super premium bitter with a rounded palate hopped with English Challanger and Goldings hops. named after the Coast to Coast cycle track that passes within 200 yards of the pub.

Steel Town (3.8% ABV)
Session beet. Well hopped with a bitter finish.

Conroy´s Stout (4.1% ABV)
Brewed every year for St. Patrick´s Day and at other times of the year.

Angel Ale (5% ABV)
Named after "the Angel of the North". Golden premium bitter. Well hopped with Fuggles and Goldings beer.

Devil´s Dip (9% ABV)
A staggering 9% dark ruby beer. Deceptively smooth and light for its huge strength.
Called "Conroy´s Crackers" when brewed for Christmas.

 Mutton Clog (3.8% ABV)
Refreshing, golden lightly hopped beer. Bitter sweet with hints of citrus. Named after a hill on the outskirts of the town where three legendary giants fought and left some stones on the site.

Paddy´s Delight (3.8%)
Named after the pub dog. Session single hop beer using Bramling Cross hops.

3 Giants (3.2% ABV)
Brewed especially for the 1999Beer Festival. A dark mild ale named after the legendary Giants of Consett.

Pott Clock. (4.2%)

A lager type beer, named after a famous Consett Landmark.
